Position: Transport Trailer Mechanic
Type: Fulltime
Location: Nisku
Pay: Commensurate with education and experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all company equipment
- Diagnose and complete repairs on all company equipment.
- Confer with Shop Foreman regarding all repairs and the extent of repairs necessary.
- Order material / parts to complete repairs
- Ensure the repairs remain within budget requirements.
- Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner.
- Perform work in either shop or field site settings.
- Prepare work orders for equipment repair.
- Any other tasks that are required by management.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician – Transport Trailer Mechanic (Inter-provincial seal preferred)
- Vehicle Inspection Technician License
- Class 5 driver’s license
