Position: Class 1 FTL Truck Driver
Type: Full-time
Location: Nisku
Pay: Commensurate with experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Must perform daily inspection of the units they are driving in accordance with the NSC.
- Must keep accurate logs of their trips and activities.
- Ensure compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations.
- Ensure proper Journey Management
- Uphold proper load times. Maintain to ensure “Best in Class Customer Service.”
- Ensure cleanness of units
- Advise maintenance staff of required repairs need to vehicle.
- Maintains contact with terminal to receive instructions or to be dispatched to new location.
- Keeps record of material and product being transported.
- Assists if necessary, loading or unloading trucks.
- Secure load in accordance with legislative policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Class 1 Driver’s License required with clean abstract
- Must be familiar with manual transmission
- Must have minimum of two years Class 1 driving experience
- Experience hauling flat deck freight and over dimensional Loads
