Yard Swamper - Bonnyville, AB
Support yard loading, inventory control, and terminal operations, including certified equipment use as required.
B&R Eckel’s is a Canadian transportation company with terminals in Bonnyville, Lloydminster, and Nisku. Since 1965, our experienced team has delivered dependable service for a wide range of transportation needs.
We value our employees and provide the tools, training, and workplace support they need to succeed. We are currently seeking a Yard Swamper to join our Bonnyville terminal.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks of customer product.
- Rack and tally customer product in the terminal.
- Work with a crew of two other workers.
- Provide support to terminal personnel so inventory control and customer service functions are completed on time.
- Assist with daily, semi-annual, and annual inventory counts.
- Assist with other department activities assigned by the supervisor.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
- Operate loaders, graders, crawler tractors, and other machinery as required. Current equipment certification is required.
Qualifications
- Class 5 Driver’s License.
- One year of experience in yard operations is an asset.
