Heavy Duty Mechanics-Journeyman - Bonnyville, AB
B&R Eckel’s is seeking Heavy Duty Mechanics-Journeyman to join our team in our Bonnyville terminal.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Fleet maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair diesel/gas engines and commercial trailers.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Record and maintain accurate work orders.
- Complete Commercial Vehicle Inspections.
- Maintain the preventative maintenance program.
Qualifications
- Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman Red Seal, apprentice at any level, or willingness to enroll in an apprenticeship program.
- High school diploma with a minimum of two years working experience.
- Valid Class 5 licence.
- Basic set of hand tools required.
- Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and within a team.
- Knowledge and experience with tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience in preventative maintenance including electrical, interior, air brake, tire, and body maintenance.
